[wp-hackers] Admin Color Schemes: generic classes for colors?

I was playing around with this stuff as well.
As far as I can tell you can only programmatically access the colours used for the preview color swatches and the icon colours:

global $_wp_admin_css_colors;
$color_scheme = get_user_option( 'admin_color' );

$_wp_admin_css_colors[$color_scheme]['colors']
$_wp_admin_css_colors[$color_scheme]['icon-colors']
