Hi Andrea,

Core development hasn't been a popular topic on this mailing list for a few
years now. Parkinson's Law of Triviality typically takes over, which means
such a thorough post on an advanced technical matter like this one isn't
likely to see many replies. Trac is the appropriate venue anyway for actual
patches. I'd suggest you post this as a comment to ticket #13590 or open a
new ticket based on your findings.
