Better yet, how about a wiki style linking between posts. Maybe put the 
post slug or ID you're referencing to in brackets and WP can internally 
link to it. That way if you change your domain name, the links stay 
intact. I'd also like to see this work for items in the media library.

No more adding a link to http://yoursite.com/archives/blahblah (where 
post blahblah = post id 205) and instead type [wp:blahblah] or [wp:205] 
which would generate the link to the internal item based on the site URL 
in the database.
