That hack made me smile, because the filter is defined right there,
just under the hacked line. :-)

Just goes to show that hacking core can be a very strong habit.

NOTE. the __return_true() helper function was introduced in 3.0.  It
does not exist before 3.0.  So, for earlier WP versions one would need
to make a custom function to return true to the filter.
