[wp-hackers] Bundled Plug-ins

While we're on this subject, if anyone has a good explanation on why
Akismet is an "external", I'd be grateful. I don't get why parts of WP
are, well, parts of WP, while other parts of WP are "externals". From
a user POV this does not make a lot of sense IMO.
