Not one bit. If you know what you're doing, do it yourself. Don't waste your
time using a plugin to manage post type and taxonomy registrations.

Post types are not "plug-n-play." They are but a tool. In many cases,
there's a lot you need to do beyond registration to actually leverage your
post type or taxonomy according to your own use case, and no plugin can
possibly account for those things.

I think such management plugins are fine if you simply want another post
type -- literally of the sort, you have posts and pages, and you also want,
say, an articles type. But once you start getting into anything advanced or
specialized, I would absolutely roll your own. Especially since you clearly
have a grip on how they work.

My take.
