[wp-hackers] SWFobject not included in core?

Yes, it can be bundled but it's a shame to have so many copies of the same library lying around for a commonly used library (i.e. man with 2 watches never really knows what time it is.)

If a certain plugin requires it, the plugin author can bundle the lib with
the plugin and call it using wp_enqueue_script() so that there are no
conflicts.
