Right, that's why I used the phrase "means like" after I'd inspected the
HTML.  I don't know what Gmail is doing specifically, but the email in my
inbox is wrapped properly.  Maybe it's magic and only works for me?

Anyway, it's been known for a hundred years that text blocks meant for
reading can't be too long without impacting humans' ability to read them.
You certainly won't find anyone advocating 22" wide text fields.

This is my modest attempt to educate whoever's listening about usability.
I'm not interested in a debate, so let's be lazy about it and move on.
