Huh, what's the problem with throwing everything in trunk? For
example, I have one of my plugins located in "trunk":

http://dev.wp-plugins.org/browser/vipers-video-quicktags/trunk

When you download it:

http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/vipers-video-quicktags.zip

It's already located in a folder called "vipers-video-quicktags"
(thanks to the packager) which you upload entirely to your plugins
folder. The screenshots, readme, and everything else nicely end up in
the plugin's folder. What's the drawback of that?

Currently, with this MobileAdmin plugin, you have to browse into the
"mobileadmin" folder, then selectively upload the MobileAdmin.php file
as well as the "MobileAdmin" folder.

Seems rather messy and time consuming to me.
