The idea was to have wp-plugins gardener that are not the core dev
people of WP.

Gardeners will take care for it, i suppose that we won't have 100%
plugins to touch at every release, statistic on downloads can show up
what plugin are most popular, and gardeners will ccare for a problem
to a plugin that score 1000 downloads/month more than to one tha score
15 downloads/month declassing last one to as not yet compatible. All
this won't set the request for help in the forum to 0 but they will
dcrease a lot. In a couple of cycle plugins developper that will take
care for theyr plugin will gain more and more audience and the other
will fall forget by wp community.

wp-plugins will care for the creme of the plugin production not for
the whole world of plugins, i prefere to have for example 2 gallery
plugin working flawlessy than a choise of 15 gallery plugins poor
manteined.

The idea iI expressed in other post are to have a sort of "quality
ribbon" for plugins that are good mantained by authors, if accindently
a plugin will miss support (authos can die, get hill, or doens't care
anymore) if i's popular will be keep up to date by gardeners, but the
basic idea is to have developpers take more care for theyr product
givin them visibility, a sort of "officiality" tools etc...

A showcase of 300 good plugins woth a lot mor than a list of 2000
plugins with just link to dev page.
