[wp-hackers] Snoopy: Good or Evil

Hi folks, I'm working on the next Blogs Of The Day plugin release and
I want it the script itself to grab some data from the BOTD server at
run time. Not every time, don't worry, I'm caching!

I have had success with Snoopy on my own server but I wonder if anyone
has any problems with it, reasons it shouldn't be used in a plugin, or
suggestions for a better way to grab a flat file from another server.
