One of the items for the team meet up in San Francisco was
“Discuss the sub-forums and ideas to improve them (I like the Meetup sub-forum conversation and really want to discuss Your WordPress.)"

After some discussion it was determined that “Your WordPress” was primarily a place where people tried to get back links (which didn’t work). The question was asked if that sub-forum aided/served the community or not. It was found wanting and has been marked hidden.
The topics and posts are still there and can be viewed via a member’s profile. But no new Your WordPress topics can be created and the link to that sub-forum will send you back to the wordpress.org home page.
