As I'm a moderator on that forum I'll just say that I disagree and no one's
been "power mad". You can disagree with the forum welcome if you like but
it's important that we all adhere to it.

It's nice that we can agree and yes that welcome is geared towards a
general case.

tl;dr The disagreement was sorted out and as I replied slack is afforded
sometimes. It's all good (mostly). ;)

Back to my original point: if you are contributing to the OPs problem then
I'll do the happy dance. If not then yes please create your own new topic
but provide your own specifics. Don't just copy someone else's text, take
the time and describe what you've done, what didn't work and where you got
stuck.

If you have a problem then you ought to be able to provide verbiage about
what you are experiencing. Give the plugin author a chance. Often they do
reply with "Hey see if this link solves it for you."

Actually me doing the happy dance might be discouraging... You can skip
that part...
