[wp-forums] B'coded user. Considering blocking him

It really depends on what the links are that were being shared.

Are they informative? Do they answer the question? They even if they 
point back to someone's site, they're okay.

It's the difference between linking directly to (say) Otto's article on 
WP Multisite Domain Mapping, and just having a link to his site saying 
"Otto talks about it" or, worse "I don't know either! <link to my 
site>." One is totally helpful, one is not helpful any more than a Let 
Me Google It For You link, and one is spammy.

It's okay to make mistakes. :) And looking at the context of the post, 
it really looks spammy! It's a rant about hosting, which doesn't seem to 
relate at ALL to Maria-DB. I reopened the topic and apologized to the 
guy. No it doesn't excuse calling folks "dumb f*ck" at ALL, but if it 
was a legit link, we apologize and move on.

Once I deleted ALL posts from one guy because he had a series that were 
bumping old topics with a link to his site. Turned out I was a little 
over zealous and he was LIVID. I apologized and reopened his posts, but 
he was grumpy for a long time. I can't blame him either, it sucks to be 
thought of as a spammer, but y'know, mistakes happen. Don't over-stress 
about it :)
