[wp-forums] Strange hack?

This user is talking about a hack concerning wpstats.org here http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wwwwpstatsorg-jquery-hack-404-error?replies=1

and it looks like this: http://blog.sucuri.net/2012/05/wpstats-org-spam-and-a-fake-advanced-search-plugin.html

When I go to wpstats.org on OS X, I get phpmyadmin and see my database on my localhost server, because DNS shows the A record for wpstats.org points to 127.0.0.1 Is that part of their hack? Or is that site dead?
