[wp-forums] 3.4 media uploads issue?

I'm getting sporadic reports (2 or 3 mentions) of the media uploader no
longer working after upgrading to 3.4 After eliminating the usual I was
stumped, until someone else came along and mentioned the only way he saw it
was when the Media uploads folder was filled out to be the default uploads
folder.

Anyone hear of this and has anyone seen it happen, or can confirm? All my
installs are multisite and it should be tested on single first. ;)
