as a non WP mod I get to reply from the user perspective.

I would suggest you stay away from the use of admin as a role. It will 
carry more weight yes, but there will be those that see it as being 
'high up in the WordPress World', not just on the forum.

Forum admin - yes
admin - no
Moderator, or equiv - yes.

I'm only 'admin' on sites where I am the admin of the whole site, not 
just part of it. (ugh forgot one exception, I'm moderator but the 
badge has admin on it - I'm continually telling people I'm not an admin).
