Not sure i personally see the problem, usernames should be able to
contain WordPress/wordpress providing the name isn't misleading imho...

Example:
wordpress-admin = bad (or anything like this)
i-love-wordpress = fine
wordpress-is-my-life = fine

Just had a skim over the username discussion that recently occured(been
too busy to follow all the discussions lately), and maybe i'm just not
seeing the problem, but providing usernames are not misleading to the
point of misrepresentation happening then i don't see any real issue.

Is there some rule about WordPress being used in any kind of name that
i'm unaware of? I thought the big no-no was in relation to website
domain names only.

If we're going to ask/request/insist that users not put certain words
into the their usernames, it would definately be better, i feel, to have
this done at the point of registration, Eg. Have the registeration
process bomb out with certain 'catch' words (kinda like a blacklist)..

I do have a bbPress install on SVN setup if anyone would like me to test
out some username blacklisting plugins locally? Or i could attempt to
write one (can't be that hard right?)..
