Would it be better to just stop people from replying that are not 
Moderators, or the original poster, once a topic is marked as resolved?

Or would it be preferable to just auto close when marked as resolved?

It may be easier to adapt the support forum plugin in use for this, 
than to write a.n.other plugin.
