[wp-forums] DPA & Copyright in Forums [was: RE: another one asking for deletion]

Sure you guys have discussed this before, so apologies for repeating,
but how does this fit in with DPA in the UK?

"Upon a user's request you should correct, change or delete inaccurate
details. If information is altered notify the third parties to whom the
original information was communicated. Regularly delete data that is out
of date or no longer required."

WordPress USA based so outside of DPA? 

And following on from this, who owns the copyright on a post made to the
forum? Is it the user, or WordPress foundation, or Automattic? AFAIK, in
the T&Cs, you don't assign any rights other to the latter - technically
giving the user the right to request their copyrighted information is
deleted?

Thoughts? Maybe adapt the T&Cs?
