[wp-forums] Reducing spam

Hi all,

Have made a few reports today in relation to one persistent spammer and 
i'm sure all you guys moderating have noticed, in relation to posts 
about "Essays", i'm sure you've seen them, which is done from an account 
registered to a unique papers DOT com address.. (we have upwards of 15 
accounts at least i believe from this domain alone).

I posted two abuse reports this morning, one to the registrar, one to 
the webhost, the owner himself didn't seem to think Spam was something 
he needed to explain himself about, and avoided providing his real name, 
simply referred to himself as "Me".. (he contacted me via email 
following the first report), though he did eventually address himself as 
"Den".

Just wanted to let you guys know, i've given his host plenty of 
information, and had a quick look through their Terms of Service, so 
hopefully if all goes well we should find there is a reducement to the 
level of spam over the next few weeks, obviously subject to the response 
of the hosts being contacted.

I'm going to be sending similar reports to other webhosts of 
*persistent* spammers, so if you find the spam is reduced over the next 
month, this may be one of the reasons why.
