[wp-forums] Codex page "current events"

There's a codex page called "Current events"

http://codex.wordpress.org/Current_events

Which lists new releases, etc.  The thing is, it goes all the way back 
to the year dot.  (Well, 2005).  The older stuff hardly classes as 
"current events" by any stretch of the imagination.

If noone has any objection I propose splitting this page at some point, 
and creating a new "Past events" page that has the history in it.
