[wp-forums] Trying to summarise - tags

Hi Lloyd - I'm well aware of that... although I wouldn't call it
conventional - I've seen plenty of sites that do it "comma separated" as I'm
in the field of SEO and anytime a website is submitted to a directory, and
they're looking for keywords or "tags", they simply say "separated by
commas" and the system reads everything between two commas as a whole
phrase.
That said, I understand that there are other ways it's done, as you
mentioned, however I don't feel that this is either explained properly, nor
what users expect to be the end result when posting a topic at this point.
Hence the suggestion to either explain it properly, or just make it so that
anything between commas becomes one individual tag. Right now, it's reading
everything with a space between it, why then can't that be switched to
commas?

Hi Lara,
The convention (*sic*) amoung sites that have tagging is space delimiting
(comma works too), and for multi-word tags to be "double quotes" or just
written as oneword.
I hope that helps,
Lloyd
