[wp-forums] Unfriendliness

A couple of days have passed since the mails to the docs list.
Are the forums unfriendly / cliquey / hostile / anything else negative ?
If so, say so.
Supporting URL's required along with a lot of constructive criticism. I
for one will ignore anything that just snipes.
