[wp-forums] Giant upgrade thread

Is this thread really useful any more? Most of the issues that people 
are bringing up in replies really should be threads on their own, both 
to track how it's resolved directly and to make it easier for other 
people to find later.

Should the thread be closed? Is it generated value from replies anymore?
