I am going to try this on blog #2 first, then if all seems well, I  
will go with blog #1 as well. Do I have to be on WP 1.5.2? I will  
need to upgrade the blog.

This sounds a bit like the old spam service which I tested, which was  
helpful.

I cleared my moderation list, so that blog is as vulnerable as a  
newborn doe. I didn't clear Spam Karma 2 out, just turned it off.  
That way if I find it necessary to switch back, I should be ok. I  
don't think this should skew results in anyway.
