 If email activation is now working, what is the problem that needs to be
 solved?

 To me, the curious thing is how you got the registration page to show up
 at `/members/register/`.  Any details here would be great.

 I've tested as low as BP 1.5.7 and the regitration page does not show up
 when it is a child of the Members directory page.
