 In fact the settings I had in operation for WP comments were simply that a
 user must have a previously approved comment - so until such time as this
 users first comment made directly to the post and held in the moderation
 queue was approved and published does it not stand to reason that any
 subsequent attempts to comment by the same user would also be held in the
 moderation queue regardless of the origin - in this case via the BP
 activity stream?
