 To our own discredit, we never looked into this. Sorry, @jstallard.

 While incompatibilities with other plugins are quite possible, we'd still
 need to investigate each one you mentioned. Probably they need separate
 issues so we can look into each separately (having to look into 3 is
 probably why this went nowhere), but we can take care of that.

 I don't know when we might get chance to triage this.
