 Yup, will be able to do it for 2.3.

 I copied this functionality from GMail.  I'm kind of agnostic as to
 whether this should be included or not.

 Here's a GIF of the Expand / Collapse button in action for those of you
 who haven't tested the plugin yet:

 If we were to remove this functionality, I would still keep the per-
 message toggling.  In the GIF, this would be where I toggle the "Nice
 work" message.
