 I had not considered the difference between "favorite" and "like" but I do
 agree that it's important to distinguish. They are two different
 functionalities with separate goals, IMO.

 * Favorites: "This conversation is worth coming back to, and I might
 Unfavorite it later"
 * Likes: "I may never come back to this again, but I do support it right
 now"

 Perhaps we keep favorites what they are today, and experiment with bolting
 on a more passive "Likes" functionality like I eluded to above, still
 shepherded by Imath in this ticket (since there's so much good discussion
 here.)
