 After a night of sleep, it may not be a so good idea for theme backcompat
 :) My idea was to hook (or create a new template tag)
 {{{'bp_activity_filter_options'}}},
 {{{'bp_member_activity_filter_options'}}},
 {{{'bp_group_activity_filter_options'}}} to populate the activity filters
 thanks to {{{bp_activity_get_types()}}}.

 Yes these two last thoughts are out of ticket scope, i'll certainly add
 one for at least the second one
