Comment:

 I agree with R-a-y. I see the use case for having this extra kind of
 field, but I think it'd be a relatively niche feature, not used by the
 majority of sites. Happy to be convinced if you can come up with a strong
 argument otherwise. I think it'd also make a neat plugin.
