 Switching to `plugin_basename()` breaks symlink compatibility if you're
 using trunk and you symlink the `'buddypress'` folder like I do ;)

 Try symlinking the main `'buddypress'` folder instead of
 `'buddypress/src'` and let me know if that works for you.
