 I can verify a closely related problem where BuddyPress isn't catching the
 registration url. So a user who wants to register is being sent to /wp-
 login.php?action=register rather than the registration page I set up via
 BP's pages settings. Can duplicate on two separate test installations,
 both using BP 1.7-rev6714 with WP 3.5, TwentyTwelve theme.
