 For the reasons expressed before we won't be changing this from a child
 theme.  I understand points of view but in this case a child theme is a
 valid option.  We use a lot of files as already said from parent.

 I understand everyone has their own views but it was decided with
 consideration and is the right path in this case.  There are a lot of
 differences between BP and WP themes but this ticket probably isn't the
 best discussion point for this.  I'd be happy to discuss more in general
 about BP / WP themeing with you if you wish you can email me at
 karmatosed at gmail.com Chris. It's not the place to do that on this ticket
 though :)
