 As r-a-y advised in [http://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-

 not-found-error/ this topic] I'm posting it here, the below is just a copy
 of the topic.

 I have wanted to use Arabic usernames so I submitted it in wordpress trac,
 a kind developer there helped with a plugin that successfuly worked on
 creating Arabic username, and authors page then work on single wordpress
 only, but in buddypress it give error, it’s all described here:
