[buddypress-dev] 404 errors

Hello,

I've just done a fresh install of WPMU 2.6.1 and then added the
BuddyPress plugins and theme as per the INSTALL-README.txt.

Everything goes well until I 'hit the view site' button (step 6) and I
see a 404 error on the right half of the screen:

http://josswinn.org/social/joss

Also, the avatar I uploaded does not display although it appears OK in
the admin screens.

Finally, when trying to login from the URL above (in the left-hand
panel), I'm directed to http://josswinn.org/wp-login.php and given a
404 there, too.

Any help appreciated!
