[buddypress-dev] Blog Focus

I just noted a thread in the MU forums regarding concerns about
removing the blog as the main focus. I just want to clear this up.

This is all handled within the theme files. This means that anyone can
create a custom theme (or modify an existing one) and keep the blog
front and center. This would not affect the other components as they
can still be rendered anywhere you like using the correct template tags.

It might even be an idea to create two bundled themes, one for a
Facebook like experience, and another for blogging with social
networking features.

All I'm really saying here is that the BuddyPress plugins don't force
the blog into a secondary position. That is up to you as theme
developers. Currently, the default theme just handles it this way. I'm
clearing this up on the website right now.
